About Butterfly Wish
If you want the uncomplicated option, Butterfly Wish is it — and most of the time the uncomplicated option is the one you end up using. Credit goes to RGB Studio. The listing shows 5.0 out of 5 on 12 reviews, which is better evidence than the thumbnail. The save count sits at 2,097, and a number that size usually means the file does what its preview promises.
Type your own words in the preview box before you decide: script fonts look beautiful in the designer's sample and fall apart in all caps or with a double letter. It is the sort of font we keep around for the job that cannot wait for a redraw. A rating like that takes most of the guesswork out. The preview at full size takes out the rest.
Judged against the requests we see — script fonts, cursive numbers, fancy cursive fonts and elegant vs script font — this is a middle-of-the-road answer, and middle of the road is usually what the job needs. On this site it lives on the Script and Calligraphy Fonts shelf, so it also turns up for people browsing script and calligraphy fonts rather than searching for it by name. The neighbouring searches are handwritten, hand written, signature, cursive and brush — worth a look if this particular font is close but not quite it.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
