About Bear
What we like about Bear is how little it tries to be everything — it does background, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Script and Calligraphy Fonts shelf. 22 saves mean nobody has tested it for you. We still think it holds up. It stands at 5.0 out of 5 across 1 review, and we read the low scores first when there are any. It is KisbyArt's work.
Put it to work on bear first. If it survives that, it will survive whatever you had in mind next. The join between letters is the whole craft in a script face, so we look at a word with a repeated letter before judging anything else. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether background is really what you are getting.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
