About Ballenotty
We put Ballenotty on the Script and Calligraphy Fonts shelf because abc is the kind of thing people come here looking for, and this one answers it without a detour. It is integritypestudio's work. Only 9 people have saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence.
The obvious job for it is alphabet, and obvious is right here — the file was built around that and it shows. The join between letters is the whole craft in a script face, so we look at a word with a repeated letter before judging anything else. We check two things before any download like this: the preview at full size, and whether the licence covers what you plan to do with it.
Search for art, artistic, background and black and this is the file those words land on; they are all the same font, filed under whichever phrase you happened to type. We keep it under Script and Calligraphy Fonts, which is where to look if you want the rest of the script and calligraphy fonts we have gone through. People after this usually search script, calligraph, handwritten, hand written and signature too, and the shelf is sorted so those all land in the same place. Put next to the usual requests here — script fonts, cursive numbers, fancy cursive fonts and elegant vs script font — this one covers the plain version of the job, which is the version people need most often.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
