About Authentic
We put Authentic on the Script and Calligraphy Fonts shelf because announcement fonts is the kind of thing people come here looking for, and this one answers it without a detour. We are not the first to notice: 147 makers saved it on before we did, and that number is the closest thing to a verdict the platform gives. The designer behind it is Doehantz Studio. No reviews either way, so the preview is doing all the work on this one.
We keep it filed mentally under bags, which is the use that needs the least adjusting afterwards. Type your own words into the preview, not the designer's. Scripts are built around a sample phrase, and a double letter or an all-caps word is where they come apart. The licence tab and the full-size preview are the whole of our due diligence here, and they take about a minute between them.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
