About Smile Doll
Most of what turns up under 7ntypes needs work before it is usable. Smile Doll is the version that does not. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence. It is Hendrik (7NTypes)'s work. Only 24 people have saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's.
A display face has one job: be read big. We judge it at poster size and ignore how it behaves in a paragraph, because it will never be in one. We would use it the way the listing hints — alternative fonts — and that is also where we would start if you are trying it for the first time. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether 7ntypes is really what you are getting.
The listing files it under apparel, authentic fonts, baby apparel font and baby fonts — those are the words it gets found by, and between them they describe the file better than any category name does. We keep it under Display and Poster Fonts, which is where to look if you want the rest of the display and poster fonts we have gone through. If none of this quite fits, the adjacent requests are display, poster, headline, vintage and retro and they stay on this page. The wording people arrive with is vintage fonts commercial license, display fonts, vintage fonts canva, number fonts vintage and retro canva fonts, and we would rather shelve for those requests than for how a thumbnail looks in a grid.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
