About Saltcrest
What we like about Saltcrest is how little it tries to be everything — it does adventuredriven font, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Display and Poster Fonts shelf. 77 saves mean nobody has tested it for you. We still think it holds up. The designer behind it is Eko Kurniawan. Buyers put it at 5.0 out of 5 over 8 reviews; worth clicking through to see what they actually said.
A display face has one job: be read big. We judge it at poster size and ignore how it behaves in a paragraph, because it will never be in one. The obvious job for it is bold typeface, and obvious is right here — the file was built around that and it shows. A rating like that takes most of the guesswork out. The preview at full size takes out the rest.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
