About Rum Red
The reason Rum Red is here is autumn and nothing else. It does not try to cover the next three jobs along, and we would rather it did not. Credit goes to The Tenacious Type Studio. There are no reviews on it yet, so judge it by the preview and not by a score that does not exist. 8 saves mean nobody has tested it for you. We still think it holds up.
A display face has one job: be read big. We judge it at poster size and ignore how it behaves in a paragraph, because it will never be in one. The obvious job for it is blood, and obvious is right here — the file was built around that and it shows. Spend the minute on the preview at full size — it is where you find out whether autumn was the description or the aspiration.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
