About Peppermint Ridge Trio Font
What we like about Peppermint Ridge Trio Font is how little it tries to be everything — it does bold display font, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Display and Poster Fonts shelf. It is Illustration Ink's work. 5.0 out of 5 from 1 review — a small sample, but it is the sample there is. With 14 saves it has barely been seen, and that is neither a good nor a bad sign on a catalogue this size.
A display face has one job: be read big. We judge it at poster size and ignore how it behaves in a paragraph, because it will never be in one. Put it to work on candy cane font first. If it survives that, it will survive whatever you had in mind next. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether bold display font is really what you are getting.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
