About Mounties
What we like about Mounties is how little it tries to be everything — it does beauty font, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Display and Poster Fonts shelf. 154 people have saved it over there, which tells us the idea works for more than just us. It stands at 5.0 out of 5 across 2 reviews, and we read the low scores first when there are any. letterhend made it.
Put it to work on chick font first. If it survives that, it will survive whatever you had in mind next. A display face has one job: be read big. We judge it at poster size and ignore how it behaves in a paragraph, because it will never be in one. Open it big before you commit. At thumbnail size every font on this shelf looks equally good, which is the problem with thumbnails.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
