About Horror
What we like about Horror is how little it tries to be everything — it does blood, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Display and Poster Fonts shelf. It sits at 39 saves — too few to call it popular, which is exactly why it is worth a look before everyone else finds it. It is sensatype's work. There are no reviews on it yet, so judge it by the preview and not by a score that does not exist.
A display face has one job: be read big. We judge it at poster size and ignore how it behaves in a paragraph, because it will never be in one. The obvious job for it is halloween, and obvious is right here — the file was built around that and it shows. Spend the minute on the preview at full size — it is where you find out whether blood was the description or the aspiration.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
