About Half Round
This is the one we reach for when the request is 4th of july. Half Round keeps it simple, which is why it sits here rather than in the reserve pile. The designer behind it is arnon.021993. The buyers who left a word rate it 5.0 out of 5 — 1 review, all of them on the listing. It sits at 7 saves — too few to call it popular, which is exactly why it is worth a look before everyone else finds it.
A display face has one job: be read big. We judge it at poster size and ignore how it behaves in a paragraph, because it will never be in one. The obvious job for it is art, and obvious is right here — the file was built around that and it shows. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether 4th of july is really what you are getting.
Search for beach, cute, display and doodle and this is the file those words land on; they are all the same font, filed under whichever phrase you happened to type. What this shelf gets asked for is vintage fonts commercial license, display fonts, vintage fonts canva, number fonts vintage and retro canva fonts. That list is why these files are here and not some prettier ones. We filed it under Display and Poster Fonts for the obvious reason, and the shelf is small enough to read end to end. People after this usually search poster, headline, vintage, retro and slab too, and the shelf is sorted so those all land in the same place.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
