About Geron Bold
Ask for advertising font and you get a hundred near-misses; Geron Bold is one of the few that answers the question as asked. Only 1 person has saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's. Wow Magic is the name on the listing. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence.
A display face has one job: be read big. We judge it at poster size and ignore how it behaves in a paragraph, because it will never be in one. Put it to work on apparel font first. If it survives that, it will survive whatever you had in mind next. Spend the minute on the preview at full size — it is where you find out whether advertising font was the description or the aspiration.
Type bold display font, bold font, bold typography and branding font into the search above and this one comes back — the same font under four different habits of phrasing. The searches that bring people to this shelf are vintage fonts commercial license, display fonts, vintage fonts canva, number fonts vintage and retro canva fonts — this one sits in the middle of that group rather than off to the side of it. Nearby you will see poster, headline, vintage, retro and slab, which is where to go if this one is nearly right but not quite. It is shelved with the rest of the display and poster fonts, and that is the quickest way to see what else sits in the same register before you settle on this one.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
