About Elastika
Elastika earned its place here for one reason: it is a straight answer to blackletter, and straight answers are rarer in this font catalogue than you would think. naulicrea made it. 32 saves mean nobody has tested it for you. We still think it holds up. Buyers put it at 5.0 out of 5 over 2 reviews; worth clicking through to see what they actually said.
A display face has one job: be read big. We judge it at poster size and ignore how it behaves in a paragraph, because it will never be in one. We keep it filed mentally under clothing, which is the use that needs the least adjusting afterwards. Spend the minute on the preview at full size — it is where you find out whether blackletter was the description or the aspiration.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
