About Echinia
If artistic lettering is what you came for, start here — Echinia is the plainest reading of that request on the Display and Poster Fonts shelf. The designer behind it is LINEART3. 5.0 out of 5 from 1 review — a small sample, but it is the sample there is. It sits at 2 saves — too few to call it popular, which is exactly why it is worth a look before everyone else finds it.
A display face has one job: be read big. We judge it at poster size and ignore how it behaves in a paragraph, because it will never be in one. The obvious job for it is bold display, and obvious is right here — the file was built around that and it shows. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether artistic lettering is really what you are getting.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
