About Chunky
We put Chunky on the Display and Poster Fonts shelf because 4th of july is the kind of thing people come here looking for, and this one answers it without a detour. PiPi Creative made it. There are no reviews on it yet, so judge it by the preview and not by a score that does not exist. Only 10 people have saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's.
If you want one use for it, take author signature font: that is the direction the designer clearly had in mind, and it is the one we would follow. A display face has one job: be read big. We judge it at poster size and ignore how it behaves in a paragraph, because it will never be in one. Spend the minute on the preview at full size — it is where you find out whether 4th of july was the description or the aspiration.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
