About Chunky Comic Block
Chunky Comic Block earned its place here for one reason: it is a straight answer to bold bubble comic, and straight answers are rarer in this font catalogue than you would think. Credit goes to squeebcreative. The listing shows 5.0 out of 5 on 1 review, which is better evidence than the thumbnail. Only 11 people have saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's.
A display font only has to work big, so we judge it at poster size and ignore how it looks in a paragraph — that is not its job. Put it to work on bold cartoon font first. If it survives that, it will survive whatever you had in mind next. Open it big before you commit. At thumbnail size every font on this shelf looks equally good, which is the problem with thumbnails.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
