About Cartoon Fantasy
Most of what turns up under 7ntypes needs work before it is usable. Cartoon Fantasy is the version that does not. Only 42 people have saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's. Credit goes to Eightde. The buyers who left a word rate it 5.0 out of 5 — 1 review, all of them on the listing.
We would use it the way the listing hints — birthday invitations — and that is also where we would start if you are trying it for the first time. Check the capitals and the spacing between them — display type lives or dies on how a short word in caps sits together. Open it big before you commit. At thumbnail size every font on this shelf looks equally good, which is the problem with thumbnails.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
