About Cartoon Display
This is the one we reach for when the request is apparel design. Cartoon Display keeps it simple, which is why it sits here rather than in the reserve pile. It stands at 5.0 out of 5 across 1 review, and we read the low scores first when there are any. squeebcreative made it. 4 saves mean nobody has tested it for you. We still think it holds up.
If you want one use for it, take artistic font: that is the direction the designer clearly had in mind, and it is the one we would follow. A display face has one job: be read big. We judge it at poster size and ignore how it behaves in a paragraph, because it will never be in one. Spend the minute on the preview at full size — it is where you find out whether apparel design was the description or the aspiration.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
