About Bargwick
What we like about Bargwick is how little it tries to be everything — it does advertising font, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Display and Poster Fonts shelf. It stands at 5.0 out of 5 across 1 review, and we read the low scores first when there are any. Bundle made it. The save count is still small at 5, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus.
Check the capitals and the spacing between them — display type lives or dies on how a short word in caps sits together. Our own plan for it is apparel design, because that is where this kind of font does the least arguing with you. The licence tab and the full-size preview are the whole of our due diligence here, and they take about a minute between them.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
