About Witch Gate
Ask for blackletter font and you get a hundred near-misses; Witch Gate is one of the few that answers the question as asked. It sits at 7 saves — too few to call it popular, which is exactly why it is worth a look before everyone else finds it. The buyers who left a word rate it 5.0 out of 5 — 2 reviews, all of them on the listing. Creative Fabrica Fonts made it.
Put it to work on book cover typeface first. If it survives that, it will survive whatever you had in mind next. A decorative face carries one word, maybe two. If you are tempted to set a whole headline in it, set it in the preview first and see what happens. We check two things before any download like this: the preview at full size, and whether the licence covers what you plan to do with it.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
