About Zp Catalingo Fn
Zp Catalingo Fn earned its place here for one reason: it is a straight answer to crafty, and straight answers are rarer in this font catalogue than you would think. It sits at 12 saves — too few to call it popular, which is exactly why it is worth a look before everyone else finds it. It is Illustration Ink's work. 5.0 out of 5 from 1 review — a small sample, but it is the sample there is.
Look at the face at body-text size before you look at it big. Most serif disappointments happen at eleven point, not at forty-eight. The obvious job for it is hand-crafted, and obvious is right here — the file was built around that and it shows. Spend the minute on the preview at full size — it is where you find out whether crafty was the description or the aspiration.
It answers to serif and slab serif, and that spread of wording is worth noting: a file tagged this consistently usually behaves the way the preview suggests. We track what people actually type before they land here: serif fonts and script and serif font combinations. If that is roughly what you were after, this font is in the right family. It is shelved with the rest of the serif fonts, and that is the quickest way to see what else sits in the same register before you settle on this one.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
