About Tobacco Road
What we like about Tobacco Road is how little it tries to be everything — it does branding, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Serif Fonts shelf. The buyers who left a word rate it 5.0 out of 5 — 8 reviews, all of them on the listing. Freebies is the name on the listing. It has 289 saves behind it — enough that we trust the demand, not just our own taste.
Look at the face at body-text size before you look at it big. Most serif disappointments happen at eleven point, not at forty-eight. Our own plan for it is covers, because that is where this kind of font does the least arguing with you. We would not hesitate on this one, beyond the two minutes it costs to read the licence tab.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
