About Thediner
We put Thediner on the Serif Fonts shelf because americana font is the kind of thing people come here looking for, and this one answers it without a detour. The save count is still small at 1, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus. It is Kenrichi's work. The review tab is empty. That is normal here and not a warning, but it does put the preview in charge.
We would use it the way the listing hints — bold display font — and that is also where we would start if you are trying it for the first time. Serifs are for reading, so we look at a full sentence in the preview rather than a single word — the rhythm shows up only in a line of text. We check two things before any download like this: the preview at full size, and whether the licence covers what you plan to do with it.
It answers to classic lettering, diner font, nostalgic font and old-school font, and that spread of wording is worth noting: a file tagged this consistently usually behaves the way the preview suggests. Its home here is Serif Fonts — open that shelf if you would rather compare a few before choosing. The neighbouring searches are serif — worth a look if this particular font is close but not quite it. What this shelf gets asked for is serif fonts and script and serif font combinations. That list is why these files are here and not some prettier ones.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
