About Targon
We put Targon on the Serif Fonts shelf because advertising font is the kind of thing people come here looking for, and this one answers it without a detour. Only 5 people have saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's. Unreviewed so far — read that as untested rather than as a verdict. It comes from Shape Studio.
The obvious job for it is beauty branding, and obvious is right here — the file was built around that and it shows. A serif is for reading, so judge it by a full sentence rather than a word — the rhythm only shows up across a line. We check two things before any download like this: the preview at full size, and whether the licence covers what you plan to do with it.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
