About Sweet Pineapple

The reason Sweet Pineapple is here is branding font and nothing else. It does not try to cover the next three jobs along, and we would rather it did not. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence. Only 41 people have saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's. Credit goes to kitaleigh.

If you want one use for it, take casual font: that is the direction the designer clearly had in mind, and it is the one we would follow. A serif is for reading, so judge it by a full sentence rather than a word — the rhythm only shows up across a line. Before downloading, give the preview a full-size look and read the licence tab — two clicks, and they answer most of what the listing leaves unsaid.

How to use this font

  1. Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
  2. Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
  3. Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
  4. Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
