About Spring Healing
What we like about Spring Healing is how little it tries to be everything — it does 7ntypes, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Serif Fonts shelf. Yarman (7NTypes) is the name on the listing. There are no reviews on it yet, so judge it by the preview and not by a score that does not exist. The save count is still small at 12, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus.
Serifs are for reading, so we look at a full sentence in the preview rather than a single word — the rhythm shows up only in a line of text. If you want one use for it, take authentic fonts: that is the direction the designer clearly had in mind, and it is the one we would follow. The licence tab and the full-size preview are the whole of our due diligence here, and they take about a minute between them.
Search for banner fonts, beautiful fonts, bold fonts and book cover and this is the file those words land on; they are all the same font, filed under whichever phrase you happened to type. The searches that bring people to this shelf are serif fonts and script and serif font combinations — this one sits in the middle of that group rather than off to the side of it. Its home here is Serif Fonts — open that shelf if you would rather compare a few before choosing. People after this usually search serif too, and the shelf is sorted so those all land in the same place.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
