About Seasons & Stories
The reason Seasons & Stories is here is childrens book font and nothing else. It does not try to cover the next three jobs along, and we would rather it did not. Akmalotype is the name on the listing. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence. It sits at 12 saves — too few to call it popular, which is exactly why it is worth a look before everyone else finds it.
We keep it filed mentally under childrens books, which is the use that needs the least adjusting afterwards. A serif is for reading, so judge it by a full sentence rather than a word — the rhythm only shows up across a line. Spend the minute on the preview at full size — it is where you find out whether childrens book font was the description or the aspiration.
Filed as christmas designs, christmas font, delicate font and digital font. Tags are a rough instrument, but a consistent set like that usually means the file is what it claims. We track what people actually type before they land here: serif fonts and script and serif font combinations. If that is roughly what you were after, this font is in the right family. You will find it among the serif fonts, sorted next to everything that does roughly the same job. The same shelf also answers to serif, so widen the search there before giving up on it.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
