About Sandmak
We put Sandmak on the Serif Fonts shelf because adventure is the kind of thing people come here looking for, and this one answers it without a detour. It comes from Typia Nesia. There are no reviews on it yet, so judge it by the preview and not by a score that does not exist. 13 saves mean nobody has tested it for you. We still think it holds up.
Look at the face at body-text size before you look at it big. Most serif disappointments happen at eleven point, not at forty-eight. Our own plan for it is branding, because that is where this kind of font does the least arguing with you. Spend the minute on the preview at full size — it is where you find out whether adventure was the description or the aspiration.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
