About Rosta
Most of what turns up under alternate needs work before it is usable. Rosta is the version that does not. There are no reviews on it yet, so judge it by the preview and not by a score that does not exist. The save count is still small at 28, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus. Credit goes to Perfectype.
A serif is for reading, so judge it by a full sentence rather than a word — the rhythm only shows up across a line. If you want one use for it, take beautiful: that is the direction the designer clearly had in mind, and it is the one we would follow. We check two things before any download like this: the preview at full size, and whether the licence covers what you plan to do with it.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
