About Roald
Most of what turns up under canva needs work before it is usable. Roald is the version that does not. There are no reviews on it yet, so judge it by the preview and not by a score that does not exist. It is vladfedotovv's work. It sits at 23 saves — too few to call it popular, which is exactly why it is worth a look before everyone else finds it.
Look at the face at body-text size before you look at it big. Most serif disappointments happen at eleven point, not at forty-eight. We would use it the way the listing hints — chic font — and that is also where we would start if you are trying it for the first time. Spend the minute on the preview at full size — it is where you find out whether canva was the description or the aspiration.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
