About Quintus
Quintus earned its place here for one reason: it is a straight answer to aesthetic, and straight answers are rarer in this font catalogue than you would think. The save count is still small at 3, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus. The review tab is empty. That is normal here and not a warning, but it does put the preview in charge. OWPictures made it.
If you want one use for it, take alphabet: that is the direction the designer clearly had in mind, and it is the one we would follow. Look at the face at body-text size before you look at it big. Most serif disappointments happen at eleven point, not at forty-eight. Before downloading, give the preview a full-size look and read the licence tab — two clicks, and they answer most of what the listing leaves unsaid.
It answers to beauty, bold, branding and chic, and that spread of wording is worth noting: a file tagged this consistently usually behaves the way the preview suggests. Put next to the usual requests here — serif fonts and script and serif font combinations — this one covers the plain version of the job, which is the version people need most often. You will find it among the serif fonts, sorted next to everything that does roughly the same job. The neighbouring searches are serif — worth a look if this particular font is close but not quite it.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
