About Purus
The reason Purus is here is abstract layout and nothing else. It does not try to cover the next three jobs along, and we would rather it did not. Buyers put it at 5.0 out of 5 over 1 review; worth clicking through to see what they actually said. 3 saves mean nobody has tested it for you. We still think it holds up. Credit goes to mail.skygroup.
If you want one use for it, take architectural design: that is the direction the designer clearly had in mind, and it is the one we would follow. A serif is for reading, so judge it by a full sentence rather than a word — the rhythm only shows up across a line. Spend the minute on the preview at full size — it is where you find out whether abstract layout was the description or the aspiration.
If you came in looking for architectural serif typeface, classical display font, clean typography and commercial use font, you are in the right place — the listing carries all of those, which is the clearest sign the designer built it for that job rather than retitled it afterwards. On this site it lives on the Serif Fonts shelf, so it also turns up for people browsing serif fonts rather than searching for it by name. Put next to the usual requests here — serif fonts and script and serif font combinations — this one covers the plain version of the job, which is the version people need most often.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
