About Paris
This is the one we reach for when the request is beauty branding font. Paris keeps it simple, which is why it sits here rather than in the reserve pile. Perfectype is the name on the listing. Only 13 people have saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's. The review tab is empty. That is normal here and not a warning, but it does put the preview in charge.
We would use it the way the listing hints — beauty logo font — and that is also where we would start if you are trying it for the first time. Look at the face at body-text size before you look at it big. Most serif disappointments happen at eleven point, not at forty-eight. The licence tab and the full-size preview are the whole of our due diligence here, and they take about a minute between them.
It answers to beauty packaging font, craft svg font, creative serif font and cricut display font, and that spread of wording is worth noting: a file tagged this consistently usually behaves the way the preview suggests. The wording people arrive with is serif fonts and script and serif font combinations, and we would rather shelve for those requests than for how a thumbnail looks in a grid. We keep it under Serif Fonts, which is where to look if you want the rest of the serif fonts we have gone through.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
