About Orvelia
If branding font is what you came for, start here — Orvelia is the plainest reading of that request on the Serif Fonts shelf. There are no reviews on it yet, so judge it by the preview and not by a score that does not exist. With 18 saves it has barely been seen, and that is neither a good nor a bad sign on a catalogue this size. Colourful made it.
Put it to work on calligraphy serif first. If it survives that, it will survive whatever you had in mind next. A serif is for reading, so judge it by a full sentence rather than a word — the rhythm only shows up across a line. Spend the minute on the preview at full size — it is where you find out whether branding font was the description or the aspiration.
The words on the listing are decorative font, display serif, elegant serif font and fancy serif font, and they are worth reading as a description rather than as tags. You will find it among the serif fonts, sorted next to everything that does roughly the same job. Put next to the usual requests here — serif fonts and script and serif font combinations — this one covers the plain version of the job, which is the version people need most often.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
