About Olde Victorian
What we like about Olde Victorian is how little it tries to be everything — it does 19th century typography, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Serif Fonts shelf. Bundle is the name on the listing. The review tab is empty. That is normal here and not a warning, but it does put the preview in charge. It sits at 17 saves — too few to call it popular, which is exactly why it is worth a look before everyone else finds it.
Look at the face at body-text size before you look at it big. Most serif disappointments happen at eleven point, not at forty-eight. Put it to work on antique design asset first. If it survives that, it will survive whatever you had in mind next. We check two things before any download like this: the preview at full size, and whether the licence covers what you plan to do with it.
The listing files it under antique font, bespoke invitation type, book cover font and branding font — those are the words it gets found by, and between them they describe the file better than any category name does. Nearby you will see serif, which is where to go if this one is nearly right but not quite. We keep it under Serif Fonts, which is where to look if you want the rest of the serif fonts we have gone through. Judged against the requests we see — serif fonts and script and serif font combinations — this is a middle-of-the-road answer, and middle of the road is usually what the job needs.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
