About Old School
We put Old School on the Serif Fonts shelf because 70s fonts is the kind of thing people come here looking for, and this one answers it without a detour. Buyers put it at 5.0 out of 5 over 1 review; worth clicking through to see what they actually said. It is mastilodesigns's work. It sits at 60 saves — too few to call it popular, which is exactly why it is worth a look before everyone else finds it.
Our own plan for it is bold serif font, because that is where this kind of font does the least arguing with you. Serifs are for reading, so we look at a full sentence in the preview rather than a single word — the rhythm shows up only in a line of text. We check two things before any download like this: the preview at full size, and whether the licence covers what you plan to do with it.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
