About Morina
Ask for 70s font and you get a hundred near-misses; Morina is one of the few that answers the question as asked. The save count is still small at 18, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus. Credit goes to Perfectype. There are no reviews on it yet, so judge it by the preview and not by a score that does not exist.
Serifs are for reading, so we look at a full sentence in the preview rather than a single word — the rhythm shows up only in a line of text. Our own plan for it is 70s retro, because that is where this kind of font does the least arguing with you. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether 70s font is really what you are getting.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
