About Monopoly
What we like about Monopoly is how little it tries to be everything — it does bold font, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Serif Fonts shelf. The designer behind it is JumboDesign. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence. Only 45 people have saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's.
If you want one use for it, take branding font: that is the direction the designer clearly had in mind, and it is the one we would follow. Look at the face at body-text size before you look at it big. Most serif disappointments happen at eleven point, not at forty-eight. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether bold font is really what you are getting.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
