About Midens
What we like about Midens is how little it tries to be everything — it does 70s font, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Serif Fonts shelf. Unreviewed so far — read that as untested rather than as a verdict. It sits at 15 saves — too few to call it popular, which is exactly why it is worth a look before everyone else finds it. Credit goes to Graphicxell.
Put it to work on 70s retro first. If it survives that, it will survive whatever you had in mind next. A serif is for reading, so judge it by a full sentence rather than a word — the rhythm only shows up across a line. Spend the minute on the preview at full size — it is where you find out whether 70s font was the description or the aspiration.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
