About Kovela
Most of what turns up under aesthetic font needs work before it is usable. Kovela is the version that does not. Credit goes to Twistystd. No reviews either way, so the preview is doing all the work on this one. 5 saves mean nobody has tested it for you. We still think it holds up.
The obvious job for it is alternates, and obvious is right here — the file was built around that and it shows. A serif is for reading, so judge it by a full sentence rather than a word — the rhythm only shows up across a line. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether aesthetic font is really what you are getting.
Search for beautiful serif, beauty font, boutique font and branding font and this is the file those words land on; they are all the same font, filed under whichever phrase you happened to type. We filed it under Serif Fonts for the obvious reason, and the shelf is small enough to read end to end. Judged against the requests we see — serif fonts and script and serif font combinations — this is a middle-of-the-road answer, and middle of the road is usually what the job needs.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
