About Jaguer
Jaguer earned its place here for one reason: it is a straight answer to alternate font, and straight answers are rarer in this font catalogue than you would think. Credit goes to Graphicxell. The save count is still small at 42, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus. No reviews either way, so the preview is doing all the work on this one.
Look at the face at body-text size before you look at it big. Most serif disappointments happen at eleven point, not at forty-eight. The obvious job for it is art deco, and obvious is right here — the file was built around that and it shows. Spend the minute on the preview at full size — it is where you find out whether alternate font was the description or the aspiration.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
