About Jacky
Most of what turns up under apparel font needs work before it is usable. Jacky is the version that does not. The buyers who left a word rate it 5.0 out of 5 — 1 review, all of them on the listing. It comes from Perfectype. With 19 saves it has barely been seen, and that is neither a good nor a bad sign on a catalogue this size.
A serif is for reading, so judge it by a full sentence rather than a word — the rhythm only shows up across a line. If you want one use for it, take beauty: that is the direction the designer clearly had in mind, and it is the one we would follow. The licence tab and the full-size preview are the whole of our due diligence here, and they take about a minute between them.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
