About Hired
Ask for 7ntypes and you get a hundred near-misses; Hired is one of the few that answers the question as asked. Eightde made it. 9 saves mean nobody has tested it for you. We still think it holds up. It stands at 5.0 out of 5 across 1 review, and we read the low scores first when there are any.
A serif is for reading, so judge it by a full sentence rather than a word — the rhythm only shows up across a line. We keep it filed mentally under banner font, which is the use that needs the least adjusting afterwards. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether 7ntypes is really what you are getting.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
