About Hexavor
The reason Hexavor is here is album cover font and nothing else. It does not try to cover the next three jobs along, and we would rather it did not. 2 saves mean nobody has tested it for you. We still think it holds up. Unreviewed so far — read that as untested rather than as a verdict. Credit goes to Colourful.
Serifs are for reading, so we look at a full sentence in the preview rather than a single word — the rhythm shows up only in a line of text. If you want one use for it, take bold display typeface: that is the direction the designer clearly had in mind, and it is the one we would follow. We check two things before any download like this: the preview at full size, and whether the licence covers what you plan to do with it.
The words on the listing are bold gothic font, branding font, decorative font and display font, and they are worth reading as a description rather than as tags. We filed it under Serif Fonts for the obvious reason, and the shelf is small enough to read end to end. The searches that bring people to this shelf are serif fonts and script and serif font combinations — this one sits in the middle of that group rather than off to the side of it. The same shelf also answers to serif, so widen the search there before giving up on it.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
