About Hendry
Hendry is our books pick, and it is a pick rather than a default — we looked at the shelf twice before leaving it on. The review tab is empty. That is normal here and not a warning, but it does put the preview in charge. It sits at 6 saves — too few to call it popular, which is exactly why it is worth a look before everyone else finds it. Credit goes to Arterfak Project.
Look at the face at body-text size before you look at it big. Most serif disappointments happen at eleven point, not at forty-eight. Put it to work on boutique first. If it survives that, it will survive whatever you had in mind next. Before downloading, give the preview a full-size look and read the licence tab — two clicks, and they answer most of what the listing leaves unsaid.
Filed as branded, branding, classic and classic serif. Tags are a rough instrument, but a consistent set like that usually means the file is what it claims. It is shelved with the rest of the serif fonts, and that is the quickest way to see what else sits in the same register before you settle on this one. The wording people arrive with is serif fonts and script and serif font combinations, and we would rather shelve for those requests than for how a thumbnail looks in a grid.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
