About Elvoriq
Elvoriq is our beauty branding font pick, and it is a pick rather than a default — we looked at the shelf twice before leaving it on. With 1 saves it has barely been seen, and that is neither a good nor a bad sign on a catalogue this size. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence. It comes from Retro.
We would use it the way the listing hints — display serif font — and that is also where we would start if you are trying it for the first time. Look at the face at body-text size before you look at it big. Most serif disappointments happen at eleven point, not at forty-eight. The licence tab and the full-size preview are the whole of our due diligence here, and they take about a minute between them.
The words on the listing are editorial font, elegant display font, elegant serif font and elvoriq font, and they are worth reading as a description rather than as tags. Its home here is Serif Fonts — open that shelf if you would rather compare a few before choosing. Judged against the requests we see — serif fonts and script and serif font combinations — this is a middle-of-the-road answer, and middle of the road is usually what the job needs.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
