About Drevaryn
This is the one we reach for when the request is beauty font. Drevaryn keeps it simple, which is why it sits here rather than in the reserve pile. It comes from Colourful. The review tab is empty. That is normal here and not a warning, but it does put the preview in charge. With 4 saves it has barely been seen, and that is neither a good nor a bad sign on a catalogue this size.
Put it to work on boutique font first. If it survives that, it will survive whatever you had in mind next. A serif is for reading, so judge it by a full sentence rather than a word — the rhythm only shows up across a line. Open it big before you commit. At thumbnail size every font on this shelf looks equally good, which is the problem with thumbnails.
Filed as branding font, decorative font, display font and editorial font. Tags are a rough instrument, but a consistent set like that usually means the file is what it claims. The wording people arrive with is serif fonts and script and serif font combinations, and we would rather shelve for those requests than for how a thumbnail looks in a grid. On this site it lives on the Serif Fonts shelf, so it also turns up for people browsing serif fonts rather than searching for it by name. Nearby you will see serif, which is where to go if this one is nearly right but not quite.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
