About Designer
If beauty branding font is what you came for, start here — Designer is the plainest reading of that request on the Serif Fonts shelf. It sits at 5 saves — too few to call it popular, which is exactly why it is worth a look before everyone else finds it. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence. Perfectype is the name on the listing.
A serif is for reading, so judge it by a full sentence rather than a word — the rhythm only shows up across a line. We would use it the way the listing hints — beauty logo font — and that is also where we would start if you are trying it for the first time. We check two things before any download like this: the preview at full size, and whether the licence covers what you plan to do with it.
Filed as chic serif font, editorial design font, editorial serif font and elegant branding typeface. Tags are a rough instrument, but a consistent set like that usually means the file is what it claims. We keep it under Serif Fonts, which is where to look if you want the rest of the serif fonts we have gone through. The wording people arrive with is serif fonts and script and serif font combinations, and we would rather shelve for those requests than for how a thumbnail looks in a grid.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
