About Crimson Noel
Ask for christmas and you get a hundred near-misses; Crimson Noel is one of the few that answers the question as asked. Credit goes to GraphicxPack. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence. The save count is still small at 1, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus.
A serif is for reading, so judge it by a full sentence rather than a word — the rhythm only shows up across a line. It is the sort of font we keep around for the job that cannot wait for a redraw. Spend the minute on the preview at full size — it is where you find out whether christmas was the description or the aspiration.
The listing files it under christmas branding, christmas card font, christmas crafts, christmas design and christmas font — those are the words it gets found by, and between them they describe the file better than any category name does. Put next to the usual requests here — serif fonts and script and serif font combinations — this one covers the plain version of the job, which is the version people need most often. On this site it lives on the Serif Fonts shelf, so it also turns up for people browsing serif fonts rather than searching for it by name. If none of this quite fits, the adjacent requests are serif and they stay on this page.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
