About Chytair
We put Chytair on the Serif Fonts shelf because americano is the kind of thing people come here looking for, and this one answers it without a detour. It comes from qrdesignstd. The save count is still small at 4, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence.
Look at the face at body-text size before you look at it big. Most serif disappointments happen at eleven point, not at forty-eight. We would reach for it when the deadline matters more than the flourish. The licence tab and the full-size preview are the whole of our due diligence here, and they take about a minute between them.
We filed it under Serif Fonts for the obvious reason, and the shelf is small enough to read end to end. The neighbouring searches are serif — worth a look if this particular font is close but not quite it. We track what people actually type before they land here: serif fonts and script and serif font combinations. If that is roughly what you were after, this font is in the right family.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
